Amir is definitely so big. One year ago today this gentle soul entered this world, and a few weeks later he joined our family when my brother Arne and his wife Lisa adopted him. It became official on December 24th of 2008. I've had precious little time with this nephew of mine, but he's got a spirit that invites a person to peacefulness. His contentedness and curiousity are not only endearing but inspiring. He's not special because he was adopted or because his skin tone is a bit darker or a bit lighter than some others. He's special because he's Amir....now, my little friend, you are, so BE...
(he's got the thinking part of being down)
I know you little
I love you lots.
My love for you could fill 10 pots.
My love for you could fill 10 pots.
Fifteen buckets
Sixteen cans
Three teacups
And four dishpans.
(and much more...)
