In proper form I am late to write a small ode in the celebration of my niece, Amanda. But as always, there is no one day sufficient to celebrate such a beautiful life. Amanda joined our family a few months after she was born, but I can't even imagine or remember ten years back to what it was like without her bringing color to our lives. (And I'm not talking about skin color). Amanda has a colorful, creative spirit that bursts out through her big eyes and embraces you and the world around her with joy. She expresses that color in her personality, in her art, in dance. Two years ago at the Carl's Cool Cabin dance party, Amanda definitely won the prize for hardest dancer. :)
