Had the chance to go to Lusaka, Zambia for a little over a week for an MCC retreat and to visit my friends, Wesley who I knew at Hesston/EMU.

Things that impressed me:

-lawn mowers

-a water park, complete with big slides

- Ethiopian food

- a bowling alley

Things that made me smile:

- seeing a advertisement on a wall: "our ink are supper"

- being with lots of people

- the MCC talent show

Things that made me furrow my brow

- tall walls around everything in the city

- missing the bus back to Chimoio
