Oh dear, I knew this would happen...I've been unable to post promptly to wish my endearing little niece, Miana Faith the happiest of birthdays ever. And it's only April, May and its birthday bonanza are going to kill me.Anyway, late or not, I cannot help but tell my you, my dedicated audience, because yes, I know I've been sparse on the blogging, about my inquisitive, verbose, and very delighting and delightful niece.
Though my interactions with Miana have been limited--starting with the joy of holding her as a sleeping baby, to dropping my jaw when she, as a 1 1/2 year old, told her mother the story of shooing flies in the pool with her aunt, to again dropping my jaw at her articulate speech last fall when I saw her--. I can see that she is a jewelled crown, with feathers to spice it up!
Being verbally articulate is a fun skill to observe in Miana, but even more is the deeper expressiveness of a keen sense of who she is and who she should be. Miana, you will blossom and sing and touch people with your creativity and grace. Keep your faith, dear little one. I love you.
